Wow

I never knew a math class could be so boring as the one I had tonight. The teacher had no idea what she was talking about, read directly from the book, and proceeded to tell us that she doesn't have time to check her slides for accuracy. Well I don't have time to listen to some lady drone on and on about improper integrals, and then change the subject completely (luckily I have already taken the course, and this professor seems to like me).

The car dilemna has moved one step further, in that I will probably be driving a new Sentra, or Yaris by early 2007 at the latest. This may seem like a long time to the people that know me, and it could spell disaster for some things, but we shall only find out when it happens, and when I get reactions for this latest decision. I have basically decided on those two models for their performance/fuel economy/price. They offer the best of all three worlds, and the hatch Yaris isn't too shabby of a looker, and definately not shabby on interior room.

Nothing done with the car on my end tonight, I have been really busy this week, and super tired, in fact, I am basically going to fold my clothes, and hop into my bed for a well earned rest, and then get up around 7 tomorrow and work on some homework as to not rush myself at the last moment.

The Hx2

This is going to be the official blog for the major project I posted earlier today. Basically its a project my friend Derek and I are working on, which we are hoping to have finished sometime in mid to late 2007. If you want more details about the car and its goals you can visit the blog linked above.

The project isn't really just about the car though, it's a good way for both of us to stay focused on something we both enjoy doing, and to escape the trials and tribulations that come with being at school all the time. I think that in the end of the whole thing, even if the project is a complete dud, and nothing ever works (odds are strongly against this), the experience from working even in a small team like this one where problems are addressed constantly, and deadlines are non existant is good experience.

I think along the way we will discover some things about business and the aspects of designing a major project that will help later in life. We may even acquire new friends during this project, as our aims are not to merely make a car for ourselves, but to make a car that delivers, to those wanting the ultimate experience, the ultimate dream.

Ah the grind

Second day back at school, and the first post in the new blog. Both going very well I would think. School like normal is a drag, but when you at least get good teachers and a good schedule it makes it a little better. I haven't really decided as to a direction for this blog yet, but I will come up with one eventually, as I have several things going on, including a major project, and a job that shows me the best of people ;-). I think I might do a matter of both, but I may also include random observations that may be deemed politically incorrect, but I don't really care. Politically incorrect or not, people set themselves up for ridicule most of the time, so I think I should just point that out.

I guess I could even make my first observation about women. I call the financial services desk today asking for a hold on my account to be removed, the lady on the phone is courteous and removes one of my holds, but leaving the second one. I call back maybe 5 minutes later, and explain myself to the exact same lady, who proceeds to yell at me and tell me she already fixed it. I didn't even accuse her of lying, she just thought she should start yelling and pissin on the floor about it, so I just hung up. Basically this is how everyone should handle women on the phone, if they start getting all pissy and riled up, just hang up the phone. Odds are you didn't do anything that you should be ashamed of, or even apologize for, and odds are the woman on the other end will think you slept with her sister. Lifes to short to get bitched at.
